In the last three decades, there have been extensive studies in the design process, and in some of them, interdisciplinary studies with a psychological or philosophical view of this process can be seen. In Iran, there are few examples of a philosophical approach to the design process. One of the important attitudes in global and Iranian attitudes, which also has a strong philosophical root in Western thought; The dualistic attitude and the process of evolution of the plan is through the fluctuation of dualities. This research tries to clarify the influence of this philosophy in defining this process by basing it on Sadra'i philosophy. The purpose of this research is practical and aims to produce results consistent with philosophical foundations; and hopeful for the design interest; Provide designers. The argumentative-analytical research method is based on philosophical rules, which first reviewed the existing architectural design processes and extracted the relevant components, and then through the review and analogies obtained from the existing processes, the dualities hidden in the heart of various theories were also extracted, which are: "implicit knowledge - scientific knowledge"; "Unconsciousness - self-awareness"; "divergence-convergence"; "Black and transparent box" and "normative theories - proof theories"; each of which has an important role in shaping the design process. These dualities are formed under the philosophical theories of structuralism or deconstruction andس with the older roots of Hegelian dialectics, and sometimes deep psychological views such as "conscious" and "unconscious" also play a role in it. This research defines all dualities under the two more general components of "part" and "whole", with the interpretation of the dual birth of "part and whole" from each other, arising from Sadrai's principle of " basit al-haqiqa". Whether the differences of different generations of the architectural design process in a joint design should lead to the creation of different design products, suitable for each generation, or whether these differences can be summed up in the method and result, and the corresponding components of each generation complement each other in the same process. In other words, they are two sides of the same axis and in opposition to each other, they create the necessary field for the formation of the plan; This is the question of many designers and especially architecture students, and this research is an attempt to answer this question. in other words; The extracted components in contrast with each other arrange the creation of "duals" where one side of each of these duals is related to the subject matter of the first generation of the design process and the other side is related to the general view of the third generation of the design process. The result of the research indicates that these dualities are under the more general duality of "part and whole" which are the result of the experiences of the first generation and the third generation of the design process, and each part of it at some point - from the initial stages of the formation of the idea and concept to the achievement of the final design - It is used and both of them can be used in the process of designing and forming the plan. Based on this, each architectural component in each part of the design stages can be examined and recognized from two different aspects, and in line with the goal of this research, it can be effective on the current architectural design processes: 1- It looks at itself from the aspect that it is part of. , is determined and is in plurality; 2- From that aspect which is the whole, it looks at its simple (beyond itself) and tends towards unity. The innovation of this research is the navigation of the definition of "whole from the heart of the part" and "part from the heart of the whole" which seems to be able to create necessary and valuable paths for the design process that promises a comprehensive view between the three generations before the architectural design process and defines the fourth generation.
